About the District

The apartments are located in Prague 7 – Holešovice, one of the city's most sought-after and vibrant neighbourhoods. Within walking distance of the city centre, Holešovice is known as Prague's hipster district, home to some of the coolest cafés, restaurants, bars, cinemas, theatres, parks, and museums the city has to offer. An Albert supermarket is conveniently located close to the building. This residence offers 30 self-contained rooms and 84 private rooms.

Reservation Periods

Reservations are accepted for the following full periods only:

• Semester I — 1 September to 31 January (sometimes extended to 15 February)
• Semester II — 15 February to 30 June
• Summer / Internship — 1 July to 30 August

Priority is given to full-year reservations and to student groups reserving a complete apartment together. Students are welcome to form groups and reserve an entire apartment for a full semester by listing all future residents' names in the reservation.

Group Sharing Assistance

Students who do not already have a group may register individually, indicating their preferences regarding companions, nationality, gender, or field of study. We will then reply with possible contacts so that you can arrange to share an apartment. This process takes some time but produces a truly international mix — very much in the spirit of the EU Erasmus programme.

The summer period (July and August) is generally reserved for tourist stays, unless students specifically wish to remain — for example, internship students and trainees.

Scam & Fraud Prevention

There is no agency commission, as you deal directly with the owner. To protect against fraud, no deposit is required until you have inspected the premises in person upon arrival.

Reservation Conditions

The deposit is equal to two months' rent, payable in cash (EUR) upon or before arrival, and fully refunded upon departure.

House Rules

1. Guests are welcome until midnight without prior notice.
2. Quiet hours begin at 22:00 every night. Out of respect for neighbours in the surrounding buildings, loud late-night parties are not permitted.
3. Upon departure, the student must leave the room clean. Pictures may not be glued to the walls — only sellotape is permitted (not chewing gum or adhesive putty). A penalty charge of CZK 2,000 applies for damage to walls or for a room requiring professional final cleaning.
4. Occasional overnight visits by friends or family must be approved in advance by the manager and agreed upon by all current residents of the apartment. An additional charge of CZK 200 per person per night applies for extra occupants.

City Transport

Holešovice benefits from excellent public transport connections, operating day and night. Within a five-minute walk you have access to four transport hubs:

• Vltavská — Metro line C (red), plus trams 1, 2, 7, 11, 14, and 25
• Bubny — Railway station and tram stops
• Strossmayerovo náměstí — Trams 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 14, and 25; night trams 91, 92, 93, and 96
• Veletržní palác — Day trams 5, 6, 15, and 17; night trams 92 and 93
